Competitive team managers are responsible for the day to day financial management of the team. Cook Inlet Soccer Club is a not for profit organization under Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

As a tax-deductible entity, the Club is subject to rules and regulations that govern non-profits. Team funds should not be mixed with the Managers or Coaches personal funds. Team funds should be placed in a separate bank account. Contact the club treasurer for information on financial institutions that the Club is working with.  Each team must submit its account close-out at the end of the soccer year to the club treasurer.  Financial forms can be obtained from the office.  The club treasurer has the responsibility to obtain information regarding these accounts from every team.

When administrators resign or leave the club, property, gear, team funds, and financial documentation are turned over to the Club to be held in trust for that age group or team until a new manager or treasure is assigned.  Property and gear purchased with team funds are the property of the Club, held in trust by the designated team.  They are not the property of the coach or manager.

The team manager or coach in the Parent and Player expectations letter, provided at the beginning of the soccer year, should clearly itemize the amounts of these fees, team billing practices and when they must be paid.  If fees are unpaid during the soccer year, action will be taken to place the player in bad standing with Alaska Youth Soccer Association.
Alaska Youth Soccer Association, its associated members and Cook Inlet Soccer Club have adopted a No Pay - No Play Policy.
